World Wide Visitors

We have many visitors from all over the world. On  Feb. 15, 2013. Mr. J. Elek a Hungarian Diplomat and his family took a 90-Min. Eco-Tour with us. How lucky we are to be able to share with the world what makes Florida especially Central Florida so special.  Here you can travel the headwaters to the everglades and see our gators and other species of wildlife as well as beautiful plants like the water lilies.

Snail Kites nesting season...

Snail Kites are an endangered bird and live throughout the swamp areas surrounding Lake Toho.  It is nesting season and there are signs posted to avoid these areas. Look for a medium-sized bird of prey - males are uniformly dark gray; females and juveniles are brownish with a streaked breast and light eyebrow and cheek patch. All snail kites have a distinctive white patch at the base of the tail, ending in a dark band with a narrow white edge.

About_Experience = We had capt. Bill for our tour and ride and it was very informative, and entertaining tour. We saw alot of large alligators, birds, American bald eagle, Herons, all types of Florida birds. Live oak trees and cypress trees, and different types of flowers and lily pads. The ride was exciting and Capt. Bill shared all his knowledge of the entire lake we were on. I would recommend this 90 min. tour.

We had the most beautiful sunset this week.  We haven't seen so much color in a while. Like the whole sky was a blaze...magnificent.
