HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

A Mother's Love never ends.  Even in the Marsh you'll find a Mother taking care of her young.

Isn't it amazing the nurture of nature.

Special Guest Visit

John Fox stopped by our office this week.  He is a Fishing Hall of Famer, 10x World and National Bass Fishing Champion and host of TV'S "Senior Outdoorsman".  We all found it a privilege and an honor to meet him.  He is world known and extremely respected fisherman.  You can catch him on the television, (check your local listings) and visit his web-site www.senioroutdoorsman.com.

Apple Snail

Apple Snails are found in the swamp.  These species of snails are very important to the eco-system.
Many birds rely on this large snail. The protected Snail Kite is one such bird and is the primary food source for them.  Limpkins are another species of bird that eat them as well as use the shells on their nests to attract mates.  You will often see piles of these shells in nests all around the swamp.  This close-up photo was taken on one of our tours.

Think about the beauty that surrounds us and take time to reflect.

Water Lilies are beautiful flowers of the swamp, that have a wonderful aroma.
Thank You Capt. Rob for sharing these photos.
